Need to get a serial or model number of a device remotely

I'm sure that if you are in IT in some point in your career you would have had to get a serial or model number of a device remotely. Here is a command to do it on Windows based machines if you have remote access to the machine. On the remote machine do the following:

Serial Number:
Click on "Start" > "Run" > " "CMD"
"wmic bios get serialnumber"

Model Number:

"wmic csproduct get name"
